Autoresponders Are A Girl's Best Friend

Used to be diamonds. Still are, I suppose, to a certain
extent, but if you are wanting to do business on the
Internet, then diamonds have to take a back seat. It's
autoresponders' turn now.

Before you get all excited about this, there are a few
things you need to know first. Autoresponders are not like
diamonds. You can't just place them on your web site and let
them sit. You have to learn how to operate them.

They're not difficult to learn. After you have yours all set up
and situated on your web site where you want it, all you have to
do then is sweat through the process of writing your copy.

You see, autoresponders are an automated series of ads or
articles that will be sent, at various intervals, to your opt-in
list of email addresses. This is what you want to tell your list
of new-found Internet friends.

However, if you're anything like me, you will spend a lot of time
chewing on the end of your pencil until you have no more eraser
that you so desparately need to eradicate what you just wrote. But
not to worry. Help is on the way.

There are two things you need to consider when writing your copy.
They are:
1. Emphasize the main benefit of what you are trying to present.
And
2. Write as if you are talking directly to a single person.

This is for the most simple autoresponder sequence. Your
autoresponder is to help you with the 'back-end' sales of your
site. Things you want your customer to know about but didn't
want to tell them at first because you didn't want to distract
them from being interested in your main product. Autoresponders,
in other words, are for your 'other' products.

There are many sites on the Net now where you can get really good
autoresponders and, what is so wonderful now is, they have
marvelous people who will help you with the complete setting up
process. Isn't that great? Now you can forget the sweating-through-
the-process-of-writing-your-copy torture.

Now you have to worry about the excitement you will inevitably feel
when you are finished. I mean, I was so excited telling a friend
about it (I was in the kitchen fixing my home-made chicken soup)
that I let fly a piece of carrot I was cutting and it flew clear
across the breakfast counter and hit Jim dead center of his belt
buckle. You have to be careful. You should have seen him jump.

A good autoresponder is your best friend on the Internet. It is
what automates your web site so you can sell even while you sleep.
And believe me, sleeping is wonderful. Talk about living the good
life. It's possible, my friend, and we gals deserve it. So if
you're thinking about doing business on the Internet, get one.
